Star in a Holiday Movie!

In This December Project, you will Insert Yourself
into a Scene from a Holiday Movie!

STEP #1

Search the Internet for a scene from a Holiday Movie. It should at least be 1900 pixels in size.

Chose VIEW IMAGE, CONTROL + CLICK on the picture. Choose COPY IMAGE.

Open Photoshop. Choose FILE>NEW, then OK, then EDIT>PASTE!

STEP #2

Take a look at what is going on in the picture,
and then have someone take a picture of yourself in a pose that would fit into the scene.

Use someone’s phone to take the picture.
Save it to Google Docs or somewhere you can open it on our computers.

Download the picture to the desktop.

CLICK ON THE PICTURE AND DRAG IT INTO PHOTOSHOP.

HIT RETURN or ENTER!!

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HOLD CONTROL AND CLICK ON THE NEW PHOTO LAYER – THEN CHOOSE RASTERIZE LAYER!
Otherwise you won’t be able to edit your photo!

STEP #3

Use the Photoshop editing tools to resize and position yourself realistically into the picture!

Make sure you cut out everything but you in your picture with the Polygonal Lasso tool.

Use the skills you have already learned to clean up around the edges so you look real.

You will also probably need to go to IMAGE>ADJUSTMENTS>COLOR BALANCE
to shade yourself to look more like the color of your surroundings.

Ask me or someone else to help you if you need it.

Show your picture to me before you submit it!

From your program, go to FILE>SAVE AS and choose DESKTOP,
then drag from the DESKTOP to GOOGLE DRIVE and the Correct Class Folder.

Save your final file in Google Classroom.
Just add the file from Google Drive.
